Looking for my next role
After four and a half years at MGLogics, I am looking for a remote full-time role as a senior Ruby on Rails engineer specializing in AI integration, ideally where Shopify, e-commerce or AI features meet. I am available to start now, and also taking freelance projects. See Services or email me.
Building
- support_engineer: a production-style AI support agent in Rails, built over 14 lessons. Lessons 1 to 3 are done (data import, the first LLM call, and read tools the model chooses between), and a hand-written agent loop is next.
- ucp_catalog: a Ruby gem for talking to Universal Commerce Protocol catalog APIs, starting with Shopify’s Global Catalog.
Learning
- Making agents reliable: evals, observability and human approval for risky actions.
- How AI shopping assistants find and recommend products, and what stores can do about it (GEO and AEO).
